I am ready to invest in a new clamp meter. I currently have a Fluke 30 meter. It has seen it's better days. I am looking for something in a true RMS, 600 VAC, minimum 600 amps, ohms, ect. My preferance is to stay with Fluke. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good quality meter and model.
What are your suggestions on the "open-jaw" meters. I don't see many of them in use. Thanks for your replies.
I just bought the fluke 334 but for about $60 more you could go with the 335 which will give you the true RMS. I personaly have never needed to know true RMS.With all Fluke 330's you can operate the dial and clap with one hand which is nice, also the backlit display comes in very handy at times.
I have to agree the Fluke 336 is my latest meter and its a pleasure working with it. I have had amprobe, greenlee and ideal meters and by far Fluke is nice for its quailty, back-light and true rms readings.
