I have to install track lighting on an acoustical desgner ceiling(grid type). http://www.armstrong.com/commceilingsna/ceiling_family_detail.jsp?productLineId=14.0
The tiles protrude down farther than the grid. What is the best way to mount the track. I thought using scissor clips and double nutting them.
Any suggestions?

I like these:

You can add washers on the 1/4-20 stud until you clear the tile, & a 1/4-20 nut fits into the track nicely.
