Has anyone ver been asked to remove or deadend Knob and tube? A customer would like the wires deadended in the attic. I was thinking of capping them and putting them in a box. Any suggestions?

Use a plastic box and run each conductor thru a separate hole/KO. Done it quite a bit with no probs and no complaints. If you can get to any of the old "Western Union splices" you might try and get them in a box.
