Hi,
What is the best method of bidding a commercial project outside of doing a takeoff?

By square feet? By opening? By the hour plus materials?

I just bid a 1800 SQF Commercial restaurant for $8 sqf.

Thanks for any replies.

You have to do a takeoff.

Any other way you are guessing, too high and you don't get the job, too low and you lose your shirt.
