What is the proper way to bond a residential service entrance installed in conduit? power The power co supplies a meter base with a bonded neutral so if you install the main bonding jumper in the panel that would make the conduit between the panel and meter base in parallel with the neutral and a current carrying conductor. If you use bonding bushings it does the same thing . Just what do you do. THANKS HYPRESS

Some, (myself included) use PVC where possible. This eliminates the parallel path.

You're exactly right about the parrallel, but theres nothing else you can do. 250.24 and 250.28 tell us to do exactly what you are describing.
