My husband and I are business owners and would like any opinions on estimating software and accounting software.

In Canada we use a program called accubid,which is also available in the States as well.Very good for changes as well.

For accounting software Quick Books Pro really can't be beat for a small business. There is a new more expensive version made just for contractors, I don't know if it's worth buying but you might want to look at it.
