I use sleeves (as in the original work) and avoided putting any tight bends on the brittle insulation or using boxes with spring tabs. A clamp that relies on digging-in to sheathing is no good here.

Sometimes those white wires got shared around as common grounds, so do check before you treat them as discrete neutrals.

Yesterday I finished rewiring half a house this way - hopefully the rest will get done during a future reno. So do a favour to the next decade when someone opens your box to complete the job!
