Just found this site and think it is awesome, can anyone recommend electrical contractor magazines to subscribe to? (paper ones, I really like these better then "webzines")

Thanks

Electrical Contractor Magazine (free!)

Online version: http://www.ecmag.com/
You can also subscribe there.

(Right now, that's the only one I get...)

Other suggestions? I'd like about 30 mags a month! A new one for every day! (I put mine in the "Irish Library" on the back of the toilet...) [Linked Image]

Welcome!
Do you mind if We call you 'J for short sometimes? (many of us are not good typists so the shorter the better)

CEE News is a good one to subscribe to.
(I have some recent Articles there and you'll see Joe Tedesco's Photo Violations Area)

Thanks,
I just subscribed to both magazines, I'm sure I had those subscriptions about 12 years ago but they never got renewed or I think I recalled them going out of business(?) - probably just rumour.

Anyway, Ive read every posted message on the newest (6) pages in the last 3 hours and have added this to my favorites list, I started in this industry in 1982 and wish this was available to me then. I am in the computer industry now (due to the terrible market of 1991) but have never lost touch or respect for my hard fought licenses.

I constantly take on electrical work but realize my skills are not as good as if I conversed daily with other electricians. I honestly am exited about this forum.

Hope I can contribute.

Welcome. Glad to have you with us.

You can also get free subsciptions to the following 2 magazines (if you qualify)

Electrical Contractor http://www.ecmag.com/

Power Quality Assurance (a must for computer dudes) http://industryclick.com/magazine.asp?magazineid=286&siteid=13

Enjoy!

Tom
