Has anyone here wire up a small outdoor hot tub that is 15A 125V,with a 10'cord, that has the GFI molded into the plug.
There is no way a in use cover will work for this type of plug.
I guess what I really would like some ideas on is should I GFI protect the recep.
Will I have problems with 2 GFI's, tripping? Also the motor has a lug for bonding, which will be done.

Shoot first, apologize later.....maybe

Sounds like a Dimension series tub, and they do make a in-use cover available at most spa stores. Look over Art 680.42/680.43 for your bonding requirements. {No. 8 bond} 680.44-A will probably answer your question on the GFI issue, and it will nussiance trip by piggy backing GFI's. Hope this helps.
