I have learned alot of information from the magazines. I even have my first EC&M issue DECEMBER 1995 and if i need to refresh on a certain subject i go back to the older issues and read. For the last 3-4 years i have slacked off and haven't kept the magazines.
Russ, you can find the necdigest at www.nfpa.com under periodicals on their home page. I get EC&M and NFPA Journal. Which leads me to wonder how many others are NFPA members?

Russ, Cons: It costs money. Pros: I deal with fire alarm so it's nice to be able to put the NFPA member logo on my letter head and biz cards. Hot line tech support from NFPA staff. Free online access to codes and standards. NFPA Journal Mag. NFPA Directory. 10% discount on on NFPA products (like the 05 NEC.) Voting privileges. Training and professional development.
