More spousal abuse occurs on super bowl sunday than on any other day of the year.
Peak water consumption in the United States occurs at half time of the super bowl.
Any body else have any interesting tidbits?

There are more avocadoes consumed on Super Bowl Sunday (in the form of Guacamole) than any other day of the year, with the exception of Cinco de Mayo. In our house there were more 'other' tasks (cleaning, sorting, laundry-doing, etc) than most other Sundays.
We had a reasonable compromise as my hubby watched a decent game and puttered around during commercials and I watched commercials once in a while though they didnt' seem to meet my expectations. (Bar of soap was my top choice although I think it's still not up to par with prior years' commercials).
Neither one of us watched more than a minute or two of the half-time show and only that while we were passing through the family room. We've agreed that we're just as happy to not have seen it this year....
