Not exactly eye appealing to me but seems the technology is coming along. http://www.thevospad.com/

Did you read about the devices used thers from MK Electric?
http://www.thevospad.com/mk_aspect.htm

"All 13A socket outlets have dual earth terminals for high integrity earthing applications."

Sounds expensive but why not make them 15amp?

"The level and colour of the lights in different areas can be changed instantly."

It looks like a neat accent lighting but what if you need to read something?

Did you see they put the plasma TV in the kitchen above the cook top under the hood. How long is that going to last?

"The Vos Pad is the first property in the world to feature MK Electric’s new high-end range of “screw-free” sockets and switches."

"It’s the clip-on frontplates of Aspect accessories that neatly concealS fixing screws, leaving a flawless appearance and each product is available in seven standard high quality finishes - Brushed Stainless Steel, Polished Chrome, Polished Brass, Champagne, Satin Chrome, Charcoal and White. Most finishes have black or white insert options, as well as a custom design service for special colours and finishes."

It looks like those $6 Lutron screwless plates only with a metal cover. I'm sure they cost more.

Sparky:

The main advantage that I can see with that design over standard LEDs is that there is an exposed metal slug at the back, to allow for efficient cooling of the die.

The ability to extract the heat from the semiconductor chip allows the LED to run at higher currents, and produce more light.

The are referring to British 13A 230V sockets like these:

This refers to their technical specifications which covers the extra grounding which was discussed on this ECN thread.
