Wow!

..... so exactly how old are you? [Linked Image]

Just kidding with you.
It is a classic. I have heard some bad things about those Monkeys though.

Has anyone besides me done the Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz thing?

Also, has anyone noticed when the person supposedly hangs himself in the background after they meet the cowardly lion?

Ryan: Yes, to the Pink Floyd "synergism?".

Electure: Do yourself a favor and get the DVD. Many insights to the making of the film, and you can watch any time the mood hits. (and you can do strange and wonderful things to your mind too, see above)

The Wizard of Oz is usually screened over the holidays in England as well, often between Christmas and New Year.

Other holiday favorites usually make an appearance as well: [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

P.S. In my record collection I still have an old MGM album of songs taken from the Wizard of Oz soundtrack that I've had since I was a kid! [Linked Image]

[Linked Image] .. Well, you'd have to take a bigger share of that to be true. Not much, but bigger.

Here's a favorite quote:

"I'm as old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth"

who said that?

"It's a Wonderful Life" is a fantastic movie....to this day, I can't watch it without gettin' all weepy eyed at the end...Frank Capra outdid himself with that one...
