I'm looking for repair parts for an electric chain hoist manufactured by Doerr Electric. A web search turns up only used equipment for sale.

Does anyone know if they are still in business or were bought up by another outfit? Any leads or info. are much appreciated.

GJ

They were a "house brand" of WW Grainger. Good luck.

Maybe try: http://www.wwgrainger.com/Grainger/rp_parts_home.jsp

Thinkgood,

I think that you are on the right track. I found a Wisconsin historical website that said that Doerr was sold to Emerson in 1969. The same website also said that Leed Co. was also associated.

How did you run your search at Thomas Register? My attempts all came up empty.
