Hi all,

the violations forum is full of horrible pictures. For a change I'd like to see what a good electric service drop look like in North America. Maybe there is a already a thread somewhere on ECN?

In my area there aren't many overhead services. Those few I have seen are old with insulators on the house wall.

I'm looking for a safe, simple and cheap way to do service drops. The American ones seem like a good starting point.

What? .... hmmm .. [Linked Image]
I'll check around .....

Seriously though, it's a good idea folks. If you could send some pictures (of Good Stuff) in it would be a refreshing change.

Jim:

I will have to search for that information too, but maybe another member can help us.

Here's a link that shows new construction and the progress of some industrial and commercial buildings of all systems including the electrical in the slab on up to the roof!
