Was there a consensus on the suitability of stranded wire on screw terminals?
I never thought there was an issue, but it came up on a job the other day.

From UL Guide RTRT. "Terminals of the wire-binding screw, setscrew, or screw-actuated back wired clamping types are suitable for use with both solid and stranded building wires."
I really don't like stranded wire on the screw terminals, but UL says it is ok.

I've seen the use of crimp on spade lugs connecting terminal screws to stranded wire. The ones with insulation where the crimping action happens. I don't know what the code has to say about this.....
