Just a note to any ford Van owners. I have a 2001 E350 cutaway with a utility body. I just had rear brakes done. New pads and rotors. This was done under factory warranty at no charge. It seems as though there is a "service bulletin" on this that your dealer should know about. There is a metal shield that is needed to cover the rear brakes to keep the crap kicked up from the front wheels out of the pads. I know a guy who had the same job done and he didn't get the shields. It cost him $500.00 with no mention of the bulletin from the dealer.

What was the mileage of your truck when you took it in for service? I have a 2001 E250 with approx 70k kms (about 48k miles?) and the brakes are squealing and have poor feel.
