Hello all,

I am looking for the wiring schematic for both motors, as I am trying to replace one with the other in a hood fan which has discontinued production of the necessary motor/blower (ep40). I need to match up all the wires in the harness which do not sit in the same position in the plug. I believe both units to be 3 speed, though I am not certain.

ELK08 is the original blower motor part number, and EP40RTC 6211 28 CL B is in the blower motor replacement that I am trying to install in place of the original

Any help is appreciated.

The manufacturer of both motors would be where I would start. Thus you need the manufacturer of the motors to start your search unless you are into hunting and like to look at elk.
