Below from Electrical Safety Authority (Canada)

The issue of nuisance tripping has caused frustration for contractors and homeowners alike. And addressing it can be costly and time-intensive for contractors. ESA and Electro Federation Canada (EFC) want to help fix that. When you are made aware of an incident where an AFCI has experienced a nuisance trip please report it directly to EFC.

To report an AFCI nuisance tripping visit: www.esasafe.com/contractors/resources/afci

Please include all required information and email it to: info@electrofed.com with the subject line “AFCI tripping.”

"The Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) is an administrative authority mandated by the Government of Ontario to enhance public electrical safety in the province. We are both a safety regulator and advocate."
