I've always liked porcelain fixtures, especially those with pull chains. Just thought I'd share my collection, which has grown a lot the last couple of weeks. I'd like to find some antique ones, I know the old ones were made to fit 3" boxes only, but I never see those around. I remember some octagonal shaped ones also.

Starting at bottom left: Unknown porcelain fixture, brown plastic Leviton w/box guessing 70s/80s?, Leviton w/box from about 1999, new GE made by Sun-Lite, new P&S Legrand, Porcelier socket from light
Top left: modern plastic Leviton someone made into a lamp with 3 wire cord. If you're wondering, the ground wire was cut off inside the box. New plastic P&S Legrand, Paulding of unknown age, Circle F of unknown age.

Two things of note, the GE has a gold chain that's longer than most, but doesn't include a string attachment like others. The Paulding's terminals are designed such that the socket must be removed from the fixture to connect the wires.
