You don't have to lose the customer, you just need to sub out the concrete. It is a different skill set than electrical.

Here you also need engineering but a regular concrete contractor might already have a stamped plan that he can mark up and submit.

Don't be discouraged. You can get lighting layout (photometrics) from most of the mfg's. RUUD Lighting is one. They used to be very helpful.

Most localities accept their base designs which you can get.

Just be aware of all (or most) of the pitfalls.

Another alternative, IF it's allowed in your area is to install wood poles, and OH circuit.

Or, to be the hero with your client, does your local POCO sell/install site lighting?? If the POCO does, you can make the suggestion.

Up here, it's a monthly fee, per fixture, billed quarterly.
Their poles, fixtures, and ,maintenance.
