I have never used c crimps before and have a question.
If you need to put three #8 wires together you need a "H" type crimp, is that correct? WA DOT standard for street lights requires c crimps in there spec sheet, however mfg says I would need h crimp per their UL (haven't got cut sheet from them yet)so I'm not sure if "H" is DOT approved or if 3m resin kit is rated for "H" crimp as well.

Any help appreciated.

H2o:

You talking three (3) conductors?? You will need a crimp that is listed for three; is the 'H' good for 3??

Or are you talking a 'run-tap'?
