Viewed a satellite TV news program this A.M. The reporter was interviewing a fire chief regardig 2 houses that burned. When asked how the fires started, the FC said "We don't know. The buildings were unoccuppied and there was no electric power".
It never ends. BTW, 2nd reading @ 14:30 hours today.

Same story is right. If the fire did not cost a lot and no one was severly injured or killed it will not be investigated. When no power is there then the standard cop out - blame it on electrical can't be used. Lack of funds for investigations or laziness or unqualified fire investigators have been screwing up fire statistcs for decades. [Linked Image]
