One of the inspectors in the county south of us came up with this beauty.

480v tap using an innovative method but at least he got the colors right.

Yup that is like a KupLTap.
The problem is they don't have one that taps a 600MCM with a #14 I guess.

At first glance I'm thinking power theft. This wasn't a pf correcting capacitor for a huge motor was it?
