Cutler Hammer BR breakers are acceptable for use in Bryant panels last I knew.
The link below seems to address this.

Bryant & Westinghouse are both Cutler Hammer now. Murray belongs to Siemens.

The "BR" stood for Bryant, which was Westinghouse's residential/ light commercial loadcenter line, later rebranded as Westinghouse until Eaton bought the Westinghouse line & merged them into their Cutler-Hammer brand......

OT,can you think of how many brands have disappeared over the years? Let me start.

ITE Circuit Breaker Company, ITE Imperial Corp.,Gould/ITE, ITE Electrical Products, Bulldog Electric. ITE was rebranded as Seimens.

Zinsco,Sylvania,Challenger, T&B, T&B bought Challenger & the Westinghouse safety swich line from Eaton & renamed them them T&B they left the market & who knows why, they later sold the rights to Zinsco to Connecticut Electric.

Crouse-Hinds (formerly Murray & now Murray again) EDIT: Murray/Arrow-Hart was what it was branded before it became Crouse-Hinds.

Federal, Federal Pacific Electric.

And of course Bryant & Westinghouse. (Eaton Cutler-Hammer).

You forgot PowerKraft* (Monkey Wards) I think that Colt was a predecessor of Federal later FPE.

Don't forget the "45 Caliber Dishwasher". grin

And the classic was FPE which is responsible for more New England mill fires than any other cause.
