Gentlemen:

I'm looking for opinions, suggestions on an AFCI 'tester' for inspection purposes.

Any input will be appreciated.

What do you use?

No, just looking for some input.

Had two new units; first use it tested out OK on two circs, then went into thermal seizure or something.

HotOne, i have more version 1's that i installed over a decade ago crappin' out than i can deal with here

it;s like the bane of my contractorhood (now i sound like robin hood...)

if a tester allowed small change contractors like me to fail these (or any of recent install) under the onus of warranty, we'd be all ascii ears ...
