Can you copy and paste from the PDF? John says you can search it and that is a plus.
Greg,

The first batch of softcovers they printed had the offer, but those were gone back in October, shipments after that didn't have it. Looseleafs move slower, that's why I still have some with the free offer.

FWIW, I just got my free copy from the IAEI a week or so ago, and it had the offer, so I filled out their survey and downloaded it. I just checked and it is searchable and you can copy and paste.

Bill is this a loose leaf handbook? (with the PDF)
If so, put my name on one.

Greg,

No, it's just the Looseleaf version of the NEC w/Binder

I bought my 2011 NEC at Barnes and Noble in Fairbanks, Alaska for about the regular price. They had it behind the counter and I had to ask for it and it was wrapped. It had a special tab with a special offer on the back cover for downloading the PDF version for free, an $85 offer. I downloaded it and it is in PDF with every single page labeled with my name and the fact that it is copyrighted all in red letters!

Yes, as I said to someone (Greg?) above, it is searchable.

John,

Can you Highlight and add Comments?

It seems I can, but I have Acrobat Standard. I'm wondering if people with Acrobat Reader can do it too.

Honestly, I have not had enough time to 'play' with it yet. If I get a chance in the next 72, I'll try & let you know.
