I don't have a 2008 code available, only 2005. In the 2005 it says the clearance for service drops over a roof area is 8ft., with an exception of 3 feet where the roof pitch is 4 inches in 12 inches. Is this the same in the 2008 code? Thanks for the reply..

Presuming that the voltage between conductors does not exceed 300 volts, 3 feet is still OK.


Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.
