John,
I use Black Background in AutoCAD, which results in a Black Background under the Schematics per an "Export" Operation.
Changing the Background Color may be performed pre-exports, by selecting a different Background Color for either Model Space or Paper Space ("Layout") in the AutoCAD Environment.
To directly answer your question, yes I can export drawings with a Background Color other than Black.
A White Background would be more "Prototypical", so I will generate a set with White Backgrounds ASAP.
Instead of re-posting the altered Background drawings, I might compile the finished sets into separate Compressed Archives ("Zip" Files), which may be downloaded from ECN.
*** Personal Note ***
I like the Background of all Applications to be as dark as possible. This helps to reduce eye strain, and makes drawing elements more visible to me.
Not everybody prefers this option... in fact many people despise dark Backgrounds and Windows elements.
Anyhow, let me know if you have additional questions or comments.
BTW, other than the dark Backgrounds, how do these drawings look?
