'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

Alan was nestled all snug in his bed,
While visions of tool-steel danced in his head.
But in the morning, his dreams hit the rocks,
As he opened his presents and found only..SOCKS!!
