I wonder if it works on romex where the DIY has left 2 inches of condutor in the device box to work with laugh

Of course that wire stretcher only works for ASCR.

BTW, I found a good use for one of these back in '05......extracting ground rods!
THe 'Chicago Grip' model did a great job on 5/8" & 3/4" rods that had to be removed.

As to a 'good buy' for a HO....I can think of a few who may be knowledgeable enough to buy & try for the DIY jobs they came up short in.

I didn't see a Logo on that, it could be a knock-off.

Slater made them as well I think. I will look in the line truck Monday who made the ones we have, but we use them when stringing triplex for temporary power and for snugging up guy cable.

This reminds me of the "wood stretcher" that I keep sending my apprentices to my truck to look for when their "hot girl" stories get annoying. Usually keeps them busy for a while.

When we were doing theatrical pipe-and-drape jobs, we always threw a "pipe stretcher kit" into the workbox..

(A selection of 1', 2', and 3' pipes and couplers.. )
very useful when that 35' drape wall really needed to be 38'..
