are there any problems with having an afci circuit and a gfci outlet together? I have a sink in a bedroom.

There shouldn't be, but I can't speak from experience.

But a sink in a bedroom?

I put GFCI receptacles on all the circuits in my addition, even the AFCI ones. Haven't had an issue. They're looking for different voltage/current responses, and shouldn't conflict.
