Just wondering how many of the guys have started using LED lighting in the residential decorative fixtures? cans, chandeliers, sconces

It seems like more people are starting to ask for the LED vs CFL.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

LED is gaining huge popularity here. In the commercial sector, we are increasingly seeing property managers implementing "green" initiatives in their building/rental agreements on new installations. Many big corp like McD, Honda, Yves Rocher, and Parasuco Jeans are implementing new store designs featuring LED lights.

As far as resi, we are seeing a slight shift as well, in the high end customs, and mid range homes.

We deal with a supplier who has an enormous and exclusive range of LED systems from Italy, and I believe they are the sole North America supplier for these products. They recently completed an LED retrofit project for a museum in New York City.

I would very much like to start using more LEDs, but the price is still a little high for most people.
