Is it permissable to install a 13.8 kV MC cable on the ground or does the cable have to be buried per 300.50 or does 300.37 allow this with MC cable?

Thank you,

Windmiller

328.10 & 328.12 Medium Voltage Cable

330.10b(4)MC uses primitted

300.37Requirements for over 600 Volts ,Nominal

Definitions read Exposed (as refered to un 300.37

My opinion No(must be underground or in a raceway or support system (tray) above ground. if subject to physical harm . Or Exposed to unqualified persons.
