Some more from the collection, this time plugs & sockets.
The first picture brings the old "earth up or down?" argument back to life. This is a single pole switched outlet for 10A 250V. It is made in 1957 & is also available in white & also a round earth version was available.

Pictures 4 & 5 show two different styles of outlets, I'm assuming the first ones are similar to the British 5 amp sockets, these ones are a SECURA brand made in Australia with a cataclogue number 17 on the back. The second ones are CLIPSAL brand sockets, the one on the left is marked 5 AMP 240 VOLT & the one on the right is marked 10 AMP 240 VOLT. The regestered design number on the back is the same (10246):

Picture 6 will be familiar to some, the plugs are marked with a brand name that looks like 2 diamonds side-by-side with an "S" in the centre of each of the diamonds with 250V stamped above & looks like 650W below. The adaptor is a three way 2 pin device with the same markings and the ratings are 125V 15A & 250V 10 A:

Picture 7 is a socket that will fit into an American pattern faceplate to allow an Australian pattern socket to fit:
