I saw a show about this. It was on the history channel or the discovery channel. The guy was actually taking xrays of the lines at the tower splices with some sort of portable machine.

Implosive sleeves,eliminates the need to squeeze the dead ends,like squeezing a giant "stake on".You don't need to pack a big press head and motor up the tower.

I have see the same thing I belive either someone have issue or withdrawn the veido from youtube.
