Gee, I think the moderators here are pretty cool. They certainly have put up with enough of my nonsense posts without deleting them over the years.

Lest anyone think poorly of the moderators...a visit to one of our evening chats will let you get to know some of them a little better. I've never, ever, had any of them get on an ego trip, saying something as "I'm a mod and you're not, so I must be right!" Nor have I heard any express any joy in exercising the options that they have.

Is this a record for most moderators having to justify themsleves in one post ever?

No, just figure that the more the members know about how it works, the more smoothly things will run [Linked Image]

Your point is?

Would you like your membership fee returned?

Not saying I'm going anywhere, and I'm sure their wouldn't be a loss here if I took my hack rear-end home and pouted. I was just stating that I thought the thread was headed somewhere. What I think isn't a concern, I KNOW THAT. Jeeze, it was a light hearted statement. My only concern is building a better, more profitable electrical business and have a little fun at the same time. Sorry for the attempt at jest. Deepest apologies to all.

wilkie, believe me, as a bystander,I've seen threads 'going wrong' many times and thought, blinkin' 'eck! - this is getting hot, then over the top it goes and folks get upset, jump out of their prams, insult others or the moderators, leave the Forum in anger, and probably regret it later when it's too late. Mods. experience over the years means they often step in a little early perhaps, but that's ok- very many times the thread is about exhausted anyway. We all know the rules; no expletives (or **** words), advertising, racism, political or religious dissent, nor insults. Easy!
Oh, and wilkie, please don't take your hack rear-end home and pout. Too late, I'm already visualising it! Arrggghhh!

Alan
