Machines may be more user friendly and last a lot longer. Buildings have shorter lives now but then our forefathers were profligate with materials, engineers more conservative in stress allowances and labor was cheap. I wonder what they did with all the original equipment? 107 years old in '05, it would be a shame if none of it was saved.
