I recently picked up a nice vintage meter/panel at an antique shop.

The panel is 12" by 10" by 6" and has a nice Westinghouse meter, an old rubber two wire cord, and a two prong receptacle on the side.

The meter has the date 11-7-1937, and the panel has the words, "Westinghouse Kitchen Proved Refrigerator Official Test Panel"

Does anyone have any information on this equipment and maybe what it was used for? I will try to get a picture posted.

Thanks!

Bryan,
Does the meter show amperage draw? The only thing I'm really coming up with on this is it was possibly a sales tool to show Westinghouse refrigerators being more efficient than others... This sounds interesting! Get the pics to Bill or Scott (electure), I wanna see this thing! [Linked Image]

A Reader named Lonna sent in the following pictures, and wonders if anyone has any information on this unit?
