Guys,
What is the most common injury to Electricians, besides an Electric Shock?.

Shocks are common to electricians?

That's news to me.

In no particular order, in my experience:
- Debris in eyes
- Carpal tunnel or similar
- Back injuries

Most serious construction accidents are falls. Since electricians spend a lot of time on a ladder, I assume they fall into this demographic.

Standing on a copper strand from flexible cable when my workshop floor is messy which it usually is, when I happen to need a tool in the weekend and walk on bare feet.
( my own fault, should wear boots when the floor is like that )
It hurts and can be annoying.
Cheers Ray

The product of rotation, excitation and flux produces electricty.

I read somewhere that falls were more common than shocks. Arc flash burns were near the top of the list, too.

I'd say the most common is falling, ( worst spill I took was slipping on the casings of BX cable laying on the floor) That stuff is like walking on ball bearings..

Minor cuts on the fingers and hands from the edges of panels and enclosures.

I swear they sharpen those things intentionally... [Linked Image]

Falls is correct from a lost work days perspective.
