What type of personnel protective equipment should an electrician own and use, when working on electrical systems under 600 volts?

Does OSHA have any rules related to NFPA 70E and the 2002 NEC, Section 110.16 for Flash Protection?

When will OSHA adopt more recent standards such as the NEC?

Joe, 70E is a fair document, very concise. Myself, i like the charts & tables, which is a good overview , or place to start.

These might be a good place to start discussing this concern, note the decision making process starts at 50 Volts!

I do not see why not, economically speaking, for a meager $30+ dollars 70E will proliferate the trade quicker, and not much to ask for during appreticeship.
