I'm not sure if this would be a lot of use outside of New Zealand.
But, it is handy for doing Voltage Drop calcs and also automatically calculates the phase currents of single and 3 phase motors among other things.

Just want to bump this thread back up to the top, for anyone that is interested.

Trumpy I've got GenCalc on my PC at work and it is great. Before I got that I used the General Cables calculation book, which is also excellent.

Good example of a cable manufacturer making it easy for their customers
