Well, it's been fun, but I've decided to give up electrical work once and for all. It's been a really tough decision to make but I'm being called by a higher power to move on to something else entirely.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone here for sharing their vast amounts of wisdom. You guys are the best in this business, and you give this trade a good name. Keep up the good work!

One more thing:

ECN RULES!!!!!

Thanks again everybody! Good luck with all that you do.

-Peter

[Linked Image]Well, God Bless mon. Godspeed, and check back in once in a while.
By the way, you can never leave completely, there will always be something that needs done.
May your calling be true.

Does this mean you'll stop staring at the lighting every time you go into a store or a restaurant?? I think not.
This electrician stuff is pretty hard to completely let go.
I wish you the best in your "New Future", and I'm sure if you give it the same attention that you've given the electrical trade (and to us..THX), you can't help but be a great success...S

"You can take the man out of the electricity, but you can't take the electricity out of the man"(a common phrase, somewhat paraphrased as you can see) [Linked Image].

My best wishes to you in whatever new field you pursue. I hope you will prosper, and I hope you will come back and visit to let us know how you're doing.

God Bless;

Good luck in whatever path you choose to take, Peter.

As the others have said, I'm sure you'll always find yourself sneeking a quick peek at the electrical installations wherever you go.

I'm sure you'll also still get plenty of calls from friends and neighbors to "Just take a quick look" at wiring from time to time. [Linked Image]

Best wishes,
Paul.

Good luck, bro.
The trade ALWAYS misses a good man (at least with every shot so far [Linked Image] ), but it sounds as if your heart leads you elsewhere.

I suppose your chosen profession has some terrific retirement policy [Linked Image]

Also, don't forget, we are a very lenient bunch, we accept YOUR kind on OUR forum.

Don't go selling your tools, you'll need them around the house. [Linked Image]

Good luck! (I"m sure you wont need it though)
