This email (outlook express) removes all attachments from incoming emails. Even those I want. How do I change that? Running winders98 with Norton antivirus pro edition.
Thanks,
Tiff

This happened as part of an update to Outlook Express. Microsoft did this to try to quell the spread of certain viruses.

To get your attachments back go to the TOOLS drop menu in Outlook Express, select OPTIONS, and then click the tab titled SECURITY. Then remove the checkmark from the box that reads "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Then click APPLY and OK, and you are done.

Hey Mean Gene! Are you the moderator from WWF? [Linked Image]
Hi!
I would suggest not to use outlook express ever in this beautiful life.
I have a home pc, usually download the BAT! Which you can find on site http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/ . It is pretty friendly, however my English is not so fluent, I understand it better and better from time to time. I like it, and it has an own protection. If you stay with outlook, I would suggest to download an AntiVirus which is set for watching your incoming e-mails and always your computer is switched on. Believe me, I have a pc of 1.19GB hard disk, 64MB Memory, it nearly burns sometimes of the speed these programs need, but safety first!
