Good one!

Some #@$%^&8%#$@^#$ cut a major Telco line coming into the complex where our servers are. We were out for 36 hrs. I heard there were about 10 crews out there working on it.

Yesterday I was gettin' 2400+ millisecond pings on the e-c.net server [usually well below 100] so figured it wasn’t a local problem.

Comms folks talk about the problem of "backhoe fade" for dug-up cables, but I've never heard the term "hacksaw fade."
