I ADDED POOL HEATERS TO A ELECTRICAL PANEL OF A CLUBHOUSE AND THE INSPECTOR WANTS TO KNOW THE LOAD CALCULATION FOR THE EXISTING PANEL I CANT REMEMBER HOW TO CALCULATE THE EXISTING LOAD PLUS WHAT I ADDED ON CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP.
Add up the labeled currents or voltampere rating of all existing loads that can operate simultaneously. Determine the current or voltamperes available at the existing panel and its feeder circuit.
In a simplified sense, additional load must be sized to not exceed that feeder rating--or 80% or the feeder rating for continuous duty.
As Redsy implied, get on the phone to the PoCo, and find out what the peak demand was for the last year. I'm sure that it will meet the requirements of 220.35.
