i want to know the in and out of a crane,electrically how it operates the whole nine yard if you have a website as a reference point i would appreciate that also.

You should look at Article 610 in the National Electrical Code. If you use a search engine search for cranes and hoists.

I know you want to get any and all info regarding Cranes, but do you want Electric only Cranes, or ones that employ a Prime Mover [such as Diesil-Electric]?

We should start this off as a simple thread with simple info posted, then work up to more complex stuff. That way everyone can participate!

well for the info i dont work only in crane but i do work some other materials as well because i am clueless in that subject i just want to gather some info about it. thanks for everything and i ll be wait for the topic when it comes up, finally i have to say thanks for all the info you guys share to in this website i really do appreciate that.
