MC worked rather nicely for this sidewalk cafe. The question is: can you do this? What about your boxes and terminations?
Please look at article 330 before "winging it." It's not as simple a call as it first seems.

Assuming THWN conductors this would be allowed.
You would have to know that the conductors where of type 'W'.
FMC with type 'W' conductors can be run in wet locations also.
Not saying it is a good idea...
