I am in search of a boom drill that has an extension shaft and angled chuck that allows drilling through floor joist while standing on the ground.

I have had no luck in my own search so I figured one of you guys might know where I could get some info. Thanks.

Are you talking about the Milwaukee 30" extension with 33 degree angled head? It connects to a Milwaukee D-handle drill and is designed to do exactly what you suggest.
