We have an oil-filled, electric heater, 8 ft. long, in a concrete floor in our community building. The element has burned out, but the manufacturer tells me it has been discontinued. Anyone know of a source for such? If necessary we will switch to a non-oil filled model.
Thanks, Christian

Christian,

Can you supply some information?
Manufacturer, Model, Part # ?

Sometimes a Google search ( www.Google.com ) may turn up one sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Bill,
Thanks for an excellent suggestion! But so far not successful -- it's an Intertherm 1400-48. Tried that on Google, zilch; then "1400-48," which got me 1,200 hits. Looked through 250. then tried variations - "I1400-48," "Int 1400-48," etc. (when I worked in retail we would often shorten mfrs. #'s to make a SKU.)
